2026 FALLOW DEER HUNTING SEASON INFORMATION AND FORMS

2026 Male deer season Expression of Interest information and forms will be available on 2nd January 2026.
Please note that if you have not been a registered hunter in the 2024 or 2025 season you will be required to complete a registration process including visiting a SSAA range at least three times prior to registration being complete. This requirement applies to all hunt group members.
Please email bookings to obtain the required documentation to complete and provide enough time to complete this prior to the 2026 season commencement.
Registered hunters please read "How to apply" before submitting permit application to ensure you enclose ALL required supporting information.

Hunting Area access fees are now $150 for T10 members and $200 for non T10 SSAA members for 2026 calendar year.

LICENSED AREAS: please note changes have been made to both Native Teir and Bellevue Tier licensed areas. Any maps prior to 2024 are now out of date. New indicative maps will be available soon.

HUNT APPLICATION CUT-OFF TIMES
The permit application must be received at least one week prior to the intended dates.
BELLEVUE TIER and NATIVE TIER ACCESS IS NOW LOCKED
When your permit is issued, contact information will be provided to arrange key collection (Pontville in the South, and by arrangement in the North and North West ) – permit must be shown before the key will be issued.
Process for obtaining access:

NOTE: To keep in line with the new process below, ALL PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED PERMITS (including Wallaby Spotlight Permits) ARE NO LONGER VALID.

Permits are issued on a “per hunt” basis. ALL permits expire at the end of the nominated hunt dates and are renewable with each new application. This strategy requires more diligent planning by hunters to ensure that you can receive your permits in time.

Submit hunt application form via email , INCLUDING copies of current FA Licence, Game Licence, and SSAA membership.
In return, you will receive your permit for the duration of your arranged hunt.

Again, you will receive your permit for the duration of your arranged hunt.
Permits MUST be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times whilst on-site (by choosing to receive your permits via email, you are taking responsibility to ensure that these are printed to be displayed as required)

On all leased properties, SHOOTERS MUST WEAR A HIGH-VISIBILITY ORANGE VEST OR HAT, Carry your firearms license at all times and carry your tag during stag season for immediate tagging as is required
